It covers Conifer and Aspen Park along US-285 and SH-73, and the neighborhoods spread across the hills around them, including Conifer Mountain, Kings Valley, Pleasant Park and Shadow Mountain. The ZIP covers about 67 square miles, all in unincorporated Jefferson County, so there is no town government and no town plow.

That leaves three kinds of roads: US-285 and SH-73, which belong to the state; Jefferson County roads; and private roads, which are common on steeper hillsides such as Conifer Mountain.
